Regions of Greece : Thrace or Thraki  (Xanthi, Rodopi, Evros)

 

Thrace occupies the northeastern section of Greece, bordering Bulgaria to the north and Turkey to the east. The civilization of West and East mingle and produce a harmonious mix of the two cultures. Europe and Asia unify their history here. It consists of three prefectures: Evros, Rodopi and Xanthi.
